Day 1: Each year Opryland Hotel creates a glittering holiday extravaganza, sparkling with the brilliance of nearly two million lights. Nine acres of indoor gardens are lavishly decorated with brilliant displays of holiday ornaments, huge sparkling trees, all set to the sounds of laughter and song. Today we travel from central Kansas to St. Louis, MO, where we enjoy our first Christmas experience with dinner at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows and drive through the Way of Lights, an extensive drive through display that highlights the Christmas season. Night in Fairview Heights, IL.

2: Today we travel to Nashville, TN, where we check into the beautiful Opryland Hotel for two nights. This evening we enjoy dinner and a show at the Opryland Hotel.

3: Breakfast included this morning. Next we experience the ICE! exhibit of carvings, sculptures and three-dimensional holiday-themed displays, all out of one million pounds of ice! Lunch today is on board the General Jackson Showboat as we cruise on the Cumberland River and enjoy toe-tapping entertainment. Later we have time to discover all the Christmas charm at the Opryland Hotel.

4: Breakfast included. Today we leave the luxuries of the Opryland Hotel and travel to St. Peters, MO. This evening we visit historic St. Charles decorated in its Christmas finest. Night in St. Charles.

5: We are on our way home, back to central Kansas, with fond memories of Christmas at Opryland Hotel.
